“The Challenged Child”: The Fifth International Conference on Child Health, Development and Welfare

Prof. Joav Merrick, Director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development in Israel, has informed me that The Fifth International Conference on Child Health, Development and Welfare, “The Challenged Child” will be held in Jerusalem, Israel, on December 2-4, 2019. The topics of the conference include new treatments for rare diseases; raising a child with a chronic disease or disability; autism; long-term outcomes of prematurity; and neonatal care nursing.
The conference is organized by the Division of Pediatrics, Hadassah University Medical Center, Center for Pediatric Chronic Diseases, Mt. Scopus and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Jerusalem, Israel. Prof. Eitan Kerem, Prof. Joav Merrick, Dr. Ariel Tenenbaum, and Prof. Isaiah Wexler are the lead organizers of the conference.
