The new 2018-2019 U.S. News & World Report “Best Medical Schools” rankings were released on March 20, 2018 (1). The new rankings were published in the 2018 edition of U.S. News & World Report “America’s Best Graduate Schools.”

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City ranked No. 18 among the 124 medical schools and schools of osteopathic medicine that were ranked this year, an improvement of four places over last year. Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, New York University School of Medicine in New York City, Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California, and University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine in San Francisco, California were ranked as the top 5 Medical Schools.
