Dr. Amra Zalihic was born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has worked as a specialist in Family Medicine from 2000. Dr. Zalihic works in a Primary Care Center and as an Assistant in the Medical University of Mostar. She is involved in education of family medicine of physicians and nurses.

Dr. Zalihic has investigated the influence of post-traumatic stress disorder on family members, and the quality of life after stroke. She is involved in a project “For life without violence.” This is a project to reduce school violence.

Dr. Zalihic has participated in many local and international seminars and workshops. She is a member of the Association of Family Doctors of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Euract.
